Studio tools

Control your picture, audio, guests, avatars, and effects while broadcasting.

Studio controls your video, audio, screen share, guests, and on-screen effects. Use the preview to check changes before and during your broadcast.

Camera and screen sharing

Camera turns your camera feed on or off. Screen opens the browser's sharing picker for a tab, window, or display.

Under Settings → Camera, choose the camera and quality. Open Layouts beside Chat to edit separate camera-only and screen-share scenes. Choose an anchor and size for each element. The nameplate moves without resizing and remains above the other elements.

Studio saves your scenes, camera, microphone, and avatar choices in this browser. A saved screen-share scene is ready even when you are not sharing; the browser asks you to choose a screen each time you start sharing.

Microphone and voice

Mic mutes or unmutes your microphone. Under Settings → Audio, choose the input device and check its level. Select Reduce background noise or Original audio for microphone processing.

Voice privacy changes the sound of your voice. Use Test voice privacy to listen before streaming. Wear headphones when enabling Hear my voice to avoid feedback.

When those sources are connected, separate controls adjust shared-screen audio, guest volume in your headphones, and guest volume on the stream.

Avatars, backgrounds, and effects

Under Settings → Appearance, enable Use an avatar and select a character or upload a compatible VRM file. Camera tracking animates the avatar. You can select an expression and upload a background image when the background controls are available.

Effects adds visual and sound effects to the broadcast. Under Settings → Stream, control chat sounds, tip readouts, and how long tip overlays stay visible.

Chat and co-hosts

Open Chat to keep the conversation beside your preview. When co-hosting is enabled for your stream, use Guests to create an invitation link and manage the guest session. Invitees must meet the account eligibility requirements shown when joining.

BRB displays a break screen. Mini studio opens a compact preview and controls in a separate window on supported browsers.

Capture a channel preview

Choose Settings → Stream → Update channel preview to capture a two-second video without audio. Set the scene first: this preview represents your channel outside the broadcast.

For the full broadcast sequence, see Go live.
